MSI Shanghai 07: Final tweaks are under way
MSI has confirmed that its X38 based
board should be ready in October and that the DDR2 version of the
board will follow the initial DDR3 version. A DDR2 X38 board is
expected in Q4 but this is not the top on the priority list.
The X38 Diamond will have X FI sound
and 4 PCIe slots all PCIe 2.0 compatible and will focus on DDR3. The
new thing that comes with this board are dual channel PWM and great
memory overclocking.
The final tweaks are under way and
both Intel and MSI are focusing on the better overclocking and DDR3
performance.
X38 Diamond should be able to go
over FSB 600 but this is something that we will have to see to
believe.
