Exterminate all humans
Software empire Microsoft has blamed humans for last week's debacle over a patch that did not work.
Redmond admits that Patch MS08-030, issued on June 10, did not completely solve a vulnerability in Windows XP's Bluetooth stack that could allow a hacker to execute code on the compromised machine.
Budd blamed "two separate human issues," or as we normally call them, 'people,' and is investigating how the ineffective patch was eventually released. When the investigation is done, Microsoft will be taking steps to better prevent it in the future. We guess this means that it will be getting rid of people as soon as possible, perhaps offering a patch for humanity.
