Ultra-portable and affordable
Gigabyte has announced a new low-priced tablet PC, named M912V. This new tablet PC from Gigabyte comes with an 1280×768 pixel 8.9-inch screen that can be swiveled by 180 degrees.
The new tablet uses 1.6GHz Intel Atom processors and comes with 1GB of DDR2 memory. Other noted specs include a 160GB SATA HDD, 802.11b/g wireless, Bluetooth, and a 1.3 megapixel webcam.
As for the connectors, the new tablet PC M912V has three USB 2.0 prots, 56k modem, NIC, ExpressCard slot and internal slot for HSDPA.
Packed with these features, the 8.9-inch tablet PC from Gigabyte weighs 1.3kg (2.86lbs). It should be available sometimes later this month with a price tag set at US $699.
