Too much testosterone
More than 96 percent of Eve Online players are male.
Eve senior producer Andie Nordgren said that those sorts of percentages are a byproduct of genre. She claimed that Science fiction is an extremely male-dominated domain.
Nordgren said that she could live with Eve’s current demographics and it was not a goal of the development team to get more women players.
We guess that it also means that Eve Online players are less likely to breed than a panda in captivity, given that online is the only place they are likely to meet a real live woman.
