Shanghai / Moscow 07: DirectX 10 in the future
Intel's latest G35 integrated chipset
finally got its commercial name. G33 based IGP is known as GMA 3100
and the new G35 based chipset graphics will be known as GMA 3500.
Intel has quite high hopes for this new
core and it even tells its partners that at one point it will have
the DirectX 10 drivers for it.
The motherboard design of the boards is
done but it looks like that the boards based on this chipset will
show up in October time if not even later. We only have two more
weeks left in this quarter so we won't wait long.
