Highway to Hell
Heavy metal popular beat combo AC/DC has been taking swipes at Apple over its iTunes outfit.
The band does not want to sell individual songs and only wants to sell albums. Since iTunes will not allow them to do this they are boycotting the site.
As a result, the only places to acquire the album, Black Ice, is at Wal-Mart Stores or on the band's Web site. Lead singer Brian Johnson, 61 said the band is trying to protect the album format. He said that iTunes was a monster and it worried him because it was only interested in making cash.
Angus Young, who co-founded the band with brother. Malcolm, said that it was like an artist who does a painting. If he thinks it's a great piece of work, he protects it. It's the same thing: this is our work.
