Deal of the Day: Who needs a Kindle Fire?
Acer’s entry level Iconia Tab A100 has slipped to just €199, making it the cheapest brand name dual-core Android tablet in Europe.
The A100 features a Tegra 2 processor, 7-inch 1024×600 screen, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage and a microSD slot. Unlike the Kindle Fire, it also features a 5-megapixel camera as well as a front-facing camera. Also, unlike the Kindle it is actually on sale in Europe.
Acer launched the A100 back in January, at a pretty steep €299. However, at €199 it is a pretty good deal. It is also worth noting that an ICS update for the A100 is apparently already on the way, so with a little luck you will get the update as soon as you unbox it.
