The latest Steam Hardware and Software Survey for May 2026 now includes both AMD Radeon RX 9700XT and the Radeon RX 9600XT, which has pushed AMD close to 20 percent in total PC video card usage by manufacturer.
As spotted by Videocardz.com, the latest Valve Steam Hardware survey now includes both the Radeon RX 9700XT and the Radeon RX 9600XT, which have recently been among the most popular graphics cards from AMD, and while Nvidia still holds the crown with 72.42 percent, AMD is gaining ground, reaching 19.13 percent in the same survey. Intel is currently holding 8.05 percent, while others are reported at 0.4 percent.
The Radeon RX 9070XT and the Radeon RX 9060XT are the newest additions, ranking in 1.35 and 0.75 percent, respectively. They join the Radeon RX 9070 listed earlier, and it appears that AMD graphics cards have a hard time getting on the survey list, compared to Nvidia’s ones.
At the same time, the CPU chart is also moving in AMD’s favor, as it now stands at 46.06 percent, while Intel holds 53.94 percent.
