AMD’s gaming-focused Ryzen X3D processors are now available with discounts of up to 23%, making them an attractive option for anyone planning an AM5 upgrade. Both the Ryzen 7 7800X3D and the newer Ryzen 7 9800X3D have received price cuts, giving buyers the choice between one of the best-value gaming CPUs on the market and AMD’s latest flagship 8-core gaming processor.
The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is based on AMD’s Zen 4 architecture and features 8 cores, 16 threads, boost clocks up to 5.0 GHz, and 96 MB of 3D V-Cache. Its large cache significantly reduces memory latency, allowing it to consistently deliver excellent gaming performance while supporting modern AM5 features such as DDR5 and PCIe 5.0.
The Ryzen 7 9800X3D brings AMD’s newer Zen 5 architecture while retaining the 8-core, 16-thread configuration and second-generation 3D V-Cache. It offers improved IPC, better efficiency, and higher overall performance, making it AMD’s fastest mainstream gaming processor while also delivering stronger productivity performance than its predecessor.
Amazon.com also has several other Ryzen CPUs on sale as well, but Ryzen 7 7800X3D and Ryzen 7 9800X3D certainly lead the pack.
