Zen 4 on 5nm and 4nm, Zen 5 on 4nm/3nm
During its Ryzen 7000 series launch event, AMD revealed its updated CPU roadmap, showing what comes after 5nm Zen 4 Ryzen 7000 series CPUs.
AMD’s CTO and EVP, Mark Papermaster, took to the stage to give a bit more details on Zen 4 architecture, as well as show a full CPU roadmap, confirming that AMD is on track to deliver Zen 5 by the end of 2024.
AMD will most likely follow the same path as with Zen 3, so we expect to see the Zen 4 architecture on 5nm and 4nm manufacturing process, same as it should happen with Zen 5, which will use both 4nm and 3nm manufacturing process.
