Unlocked is the way
As AMD had a huge success with its Athlon Black edition, Phenom is just an extension to capture even more of this success.
The only bad thing now is the limiting frequency, but for a few dollars more, you get an unlocked CPU that you can potentially overclock quite well.
Phenom 9600 Black edition is a nice try, but this core is very limited for overclocking; however, we are sure that the next revision will be better.
The real Black edition comes with 45nm, where we expect great overclocking features, but that will be in the second half of 2008.
