Dual-slot Creator series Radeon AI PRO
ASRock has announced the launch of its latest graphics card, the Radeon AI PRO R9700 Creator, built to support edge AI acceleration and professional visualization tasks. Featuring a 4 nm Navi 48 silicon, the GPU comes fully enabled with 64 compute units (4,096 stream processors), 128 AI accelerators, and 64 ray tracing units. It also packs 32GB of memory, which should help with larger AI models.
Unlike ASRock’s gaming-oriented graphics cards, the Radeon AI PRO R9700 Creator series, aimed at AI researchers, content creators, and professionals needing high memory bandwidth, advanced AI acceleration, and compact, rack-friendly GPU installations, uses a standard dual-slot design with a single blower-style fan. It also includes a cut-out at the back, which should help with cooling the adjacent cards.
ASRock also made sure that the 16-pin 12V-2×6 power connector is located at the end of the card, rather than the top, in order to make it more suitable to be used in rackmount chassis. It also comes with four DisplayPort 2.1a outputs.
Unfortunately, ASRock did not reveal any precise details regarding the price or the availability date, but hopefully, this one will show up pretty soon.
