At the CES 2026 show Asus unveiled a rather interesting 14-inch detachable tablet that is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon X2 Elite SoC, the Asus ProArt PZ14. Described as the most powerful creator tablet from Asus, it is made from a CNC-machined aluminum in Nano Black finish and packs quite a punch considering it weighs just 0.79kg with 9mm-thin unibody.
The Asus ProArt PZ14 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X2 Elite 18-core SoC with 80 TOPS NPU, promising an all-day battery life, smooth creativity, and high performance, all in a slim and lightweight chassis. The SoC is combined with 32GB of LPDDR5X memory and up to 1TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.
As said, it is a 14-inch tablet with beautiful ASUS Lumina Pro OLED 3K (2800 x 1800) 144 Hz screen with 243ppi, 1,000nits of HDR peak brightness, VESA DisplayHDR 1000 and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification, Pantone Validation, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut with Delta E <1, 0.2ms response time, and more. The screen is probably the most impressive part of the tablet, although the Snapdragon X2 Elite should do a pretty good job as well. It also comes with ASUS Pen 3.0 with 4096 pressure levels, tilt recognition, and palm-rejection for natural drawing and writing.
It runs on Windows 11 Home with Copilot+, it has an 8MP front IR and 13MP rear camera, two USB 4 ports, SD Express 7.0 card reader, detachable Bluetooth keyboard with 1.7 mm key-travel and touchpad. The Asus ProArt PZ14 uses a 75W battery and comes with a 20V 68W adapter.
Unfortunately, the Asus ProArt PZ14 just announced at the CES 2026 show so we’ll have to wait a bit for the price or the availability date, but hopefully, it will show up on retail/e-tail shelves soon.
