ASUS has added two new models to its ProArt display family, introducing the 26.5-inch ProArt Display OLED PA279CDV and the 31.5-inch PA329CDV. Both monitors target photographers, video editors, and digital artists with 4K QD-OLED panels, factory-calibrated color accuracy, and a feature set designed for professional workflows.
The new displays use 3840×2160 QD-OLED panels capable of reaching 1,000 nits peak brightness in HDR highlights, while offering the deep blacks and high contrast expected from OLED technology. ASUS also includes support for 120Hz refresh rates and variable refresh rate (VRR), allowing creators to review high-frame-rate content or work with smoother animations without moving to a gaming-focused display.
Color performance is naturally a major selling point. Both monitors cover 99 percent of the DCI-P3 color space, along with 100 percent sRGB and Rec.709, and feature true 10-bit panels capable of displaying more than one billion colors. ASUS says every unit is factory calibrated using a multi-stage process, achieving Delta E below 1.5, making the displays suitable for color grading, photo editing, and professional video production.
The company has also addressed one of OLED’s practical concerns by adding a new anti-scratch protective layer, which it claims improves panel surface hardness by up to 2.5 times compared to previous-generation QD-OLED displays. ASUS OLED Care features are also onboard, including pixel shifting, logo detection, screen dimming and a proximity sensor that automatically lowers brightness when no user is detected in front of the display to help reduce the risk of image retention.
Connectivity is equally well equipped. Both monitors feature USB-C with 96W Power Delivery, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 with Display Stream Compression and daisy-chain support, plus a built-in USB hub with one USB-C and three USB-A ports. ASUS has also integrated an Auto KVM function, allowing a single keyboard and mouse to control two connected computers without requiring a separate KVM switch.
Mac users haven’t been forgotten either. ASUS includes an M Model-P3 color mode designed to better match macOS color output, while the latest version of DisplayWidget Center now supports macOS for easier control over brightness, color settings and monitor functions. The displays also work with Apple’s ProMotion ecosystem, synchronizing refresh rates up to 120Hz where supported.
A redesigned stand reduces the monitor’s desktop footprint by roughly a third while offering the usual ergonomic adjustments, and an ambient light sensor automatically tweaks brightness and color temperature based on room lighting.
The ProArt Display OLED PA279CDV is scheduled to arrive in July 2026 with a suggested retail price of $699, while the larger PA329CDV is expected to launch in September 2026 for $899. Buyers in eligible regions will also receive a three-month Adobe Creative Cloud subscription as part of ASUS’ ongoing partnership with Adobe.
