Some skepticism is in order
A rather interesting device has popped up on Rightware’s PowerBoard benchmark. The name says it all, the tablet is listed as Google Asus Nexus 7.
The spec seems in line with expectations, 1280×768 screen and a 1.3GHz Tegra 3 chip, so no surprises there. However, the tablet is supposedly running Android 4.1. At this point we are not entirely sure whether 4.1 is in fact Jelly Bean. However, although the spec sounds legit we are still somewhat skeptical.
Interestingly, Engadget is reporting that the Asus MeMO 370T has jumped through a few hoops over at the FCC. The Nexus tablet is supposedly based on the 370T.
