Euro sales of semiconductors were worth $2.669 billion in June, that’s a 1.7 percent increase compared to May 2016.

The second quarter figures show a 0.1 percent sales increase compared to Q1, working on the rolling average model.

ESIA said that there was a sharp increase for logic chips (5.3%), MOS microprocessors (4.8%) and MOS DRAM, which showed a significant uptick in June of 7.6 percent.

Worldwide sales in the second calendar quarter were up by 1.1 percent compared to the first quarter.
