New designs
ClearCube has introduced what it claims is a new blade server and chassis that will put the technology into the hands of small to medium-sized companies.
The A1410 PC Blade and A3100 chassis are based on Intel quad-core processors, and also use the ClearCube I9400 series I/Port. In a press release, ClearCube's Chief Executive and President, Rick Hoffman, indicated that the A1410 PC Blade will cost around £720.
This will mean that many smaller companies can move into the technology, which is more space and energy efficient than traditional server boxes.
