DDR5 prices have started increasing again, bringing to an end the tiny bit of relief seen in Germany last month.
According to the 3D centre, April prices are ticking up after the first recorded drop since July 2025, and it appears more hikes could be on the way in the coming months.
The average DDR5 kit price is around 410 per cent higher than in July 2025.
A 3D Centre table shows some kits edging down while others climbed, and the 2x 48 GB DDR5-6400 kits took the biggest jump.
High-capacity kits often get whacked first, but the chart history shows 16 GB and 32 GB DDR5 kits have spiked faster than 48 GB at times.
Another 3D Centre chart, titled ‘DDR5 Memory: Retail Price Trend 2025/26 v4’, shows the overall peak hit 440 per cent in January.
The same dataset flags a total increase of up to +367 per cent for certain models, with the monthly average price index rising as high as +310 per cent.
Because 3D Centre pulls retail prices from several German retailers, it is a solid snapshot of what people are paying at the tills.
It is not a perfect mirror of the global DRAM market, but similar trends have shown up in North America and elsewhere, which is a lovely little warning for anyone waiting for a bargain.
