By offering to acquire Take-Two Interactive Software
Ubisoft might hasten their development, and the reason is Electronic Arts’ nearly $2 billion offer to acquire Take-Two Interactive software. Although acquiring different companies is not ruled out, Ubisoft claims they would rather focus on acquiring new game licenses.
Yves Guillemot, the President of this French game developer added: “Electronic Arts’ wish to acquire Take-Two Interactive Software drives us to hasten our internal development but also to consider other options of growth outside the company.”
