GEEKOM is expanding beyond its usual mini PC territory with the launch of the new GeekBook M16, a productivity-focused laptop that promises to shake up the sub-$800 segment with high-end specs and long battery life.
The GeekBook M16 is built around a 16-inch 16:10 display with a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio, while the chassis uses an all-metal aluminum alloy construction made with CNC machining and anodizing processes. The design lines up with more of a premium feel, which is a good path considering other budget options on the market. The laptop is powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 9 processor and uses GEEKOM’s Dynamic Tuning Technology to push performance up to 55W under heavier workloads. The company pairs the chip with LPDDR5 memory and a Kingston SSD, targeting creators, office users, and multitaskers looking for strong everyday performance without stepping into premium laptop pricing.
Battery life is one of the main selling points here. GEEKOM claims the laptop can deliver up to 24 hours of Wi-Fi usage thanks to its 99.9Wh battery and GIPM power management system. The notebook also supports 100W PD GaN fast charging, with a quick 10-minute top-up designed to provide enough power for short work sessions on the go. Cooling is handled by the company’s IceBlade 3.0 dual-fan setup, while connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and Windows 11 Pro out of the box. Users also get a full-size backlit keyboard with a numpad and a 180-degree hinge design.
The GeekBook M16 is now available for pre-order through GEEKOM’s official store.
