G86-300 at 460 / 800 MHz
We finally got the last remaining piece of the puzzle.
Geforce 8500GT also known as the G86-300 card is clocked at 460 MHz core and
800 MHz memory. It uses 256 MB of 128 bit DDR2 memory and it is a PCIe only
card.
The card supports 32 Shader processors but no one talks
about the real pipelines anymore. It is naturally DirectX 10 compatible.
The chip is 80 nanometre and the card will cost less than $100
a piece. The PCB of the card is not a complex one and it will work with four
PCB layers only.
