Gigabyte has formally announced the first passively cooled HD 5770 card on the market.
The GV-R577SL-1GD Silent Cell sports a massive cooler with 4 high performance heatpipes and an “ultra-huge” copper base. The cooler is similar to that on Gigabyte’s 5750 Silent Cell, but it’s a bit larger and packs more fins.
As you might have guessed, it’s reference clocked like all passively cooled cards. However, it’s still the fastest passive card on the market.
So, if you’re after a silent card that can run most current games, look no further. Well, in fact, you need to look here. Still no word on price though.
