Gigabyte will take its focus away from motherboards and graphics cards and we had this confirmed by some very high ranked sources close to the company.
The company will slowly but surely start putting more R&D money into mobile phones, UMPCs and Laptops as this is where the market wants to go. Desktop PC will stay, but they won't be as important as it is now.
Gigabyte is not alone in this trend and you can see that Asus and MSI are making a strong move into mobile computing and Asus has a strong mobile phone and UMPC focus.
