GMKtec has started selling its NEO-X1 Series, a compact desktop aimed at gamers and enthusiasts who want desktop-class hardware without moving to a full-size tower. The higher-end NEO-X1 Pro combines AMD’s Ryzen 9 9955HX3D with Nvidia Geforce RTX 50 Series desktop graphics in a 14.6-liter chassis, putting some serious hardware into a relatively small chassis.
The Ryzen 9 9955HX3D brings AMD’s 3D V-Cache technology and up to 144MB of cache, while the system’s desktop GPU configuration provides access to the latest GeForce RTX 50 Series features. GMKtec has paired the hardware with a dedicated liquid-cooling solution intended to keep temperatures and performance under control during sustained gaming and heavy workloads. An 850W 80 Plus Gold power supply provides the required headroom for the CPU and desktop graphics hardware.
Beyond gaming, GMKtec is positioning the NEO-X1 as a system for content creation, AI workloads, and other applications that can take advantage of its high-performance CPU and GPU combination. The 14.6-liter chassis also leaves the system considerably smaller than a conventional gaming desktop while retaining the performance of full desktop-class components.
The GMKtec NEO-X1 Series went on sale on August 17, 2026, through GMKtec’s official store, with the price set at $2,099.99 for the version with AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX, RTX 5060 Ti graphics card, 32GB RAM, and 1TB SSD. The more powerful version with AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D CPU, RTX 5070 graphics card, 64GB RAM, and 2TB SSD is priced at $2,899.99.
