Low latencies and an 8-layer PCB
G.Skill has announced a new 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2-1066 memory kit, working at 5-5-5-15 latencies.
This kit uses an 8-layer PCB, which should help to eliminate electronic noise from the power line and ground. It should also help in providing more stable impedance and lower signal distortion. The new kit works at 1066 MHz and has low latency settings of 5-5-5-15, at 2.0 – 2.1 Volts.
The new 4GB kit, branded G.Skill F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK also comes with a lifetime warranty. The kit will be available through G.Skill's authorized resellers and distributors worldwide.
