Intel announces new Arc Pro graphics cards, the Arc Pro B70 and Arc Pro B65

Intel today announced two new Arc Pro graphics cards for workstations: the Arc Pro B70 and Arc Pro B65. These cards are designed for AI compute workloads, professional visualization, and software development, promising high performance and multi-GPU setups.

The Arc Pro B70 is the most powerful of the two, based on Intel’s Xe2 “Battlemage” graphics architecture. It has 32 Xe cores, 256 XMX engines, 32 ray tracing units, and 32GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit bus, delivering 608 GB/s of bandwidth. The GPU can reach 367 TOPS (INT8) for AI tasks and supports DirectX 12 Ultimate, OpenGL 4.6, and Vulkan 1.3. Compute APIs include Intel oneAPI, OpenCL 3.0, and OpenVINO. It also handles AV1, HEVC, VP9, and H.265 encoding and decoding, and outputs through four DisplayPort 2.1 ports. Power usage ranges from 160W to 290W, depending on the card design.

The Arc Pro B65 offers a slightly smaller configuration with 24 Xe cores, 160 XMX engines, and 20 ray tracing units. It also comes with 32GB of GDDR6 memory, but on a 192-bit interface, and uses the full PCI-Express 5.0 x16 interface. The B65 supports the same graphics APIs, media features, and display outputs as the B70, with a typical power draw of 200W.

Both cards are aimed at professionals who need reliable performance for AI, visualization, and complex workloads. Intel will provide certified drivers for Windows 10, Windows 11, and Linux, ensuring smooth operation across platforms.

With the Arc Pro B70 and B65, Intel is expanding its workstation GPU lineup, offering high-end options for AI compute and professional graphics in a growing market.
