Coming in 3,337,200,000,000,000 nanoseconds
Intel will introduce its fourth generation Core parts at Computex, on 4 June.
Intel says it will reveal Haswell in 3,337,200,000,000,000 nanoseconds, which means June 4, Taiwan time. We already knew Haswell was coming at Computex, along with a flood of new designs based on the chip, but now it is official.
The first chips are aimed at high performance notebooks, while SKUs designed for light and thin notebooks are expected in the latter half of the year.
In addition, Intel is also expected to introduce its first Android based notebooks later this year. They will be priced at about $200 and should replace netbooks, which are expected to die out by the end of the year.
