Intel has now published all the information for its Granite Rapids-WS Xeon 600 series processors for workstations, detailing all the turbo frequencies in various workloads, including SSE, AVX2, AVX-512, and AMX.
In case you missed it, the flagship Xeon 698X packs 86 cores and 172 threads, has 336MB of L3 cache, and runs at 2.0GHz base and 4.8GHz Turbo Boost Max 3.0 clock. This SKU is also fully unlocked, allowing unhindered overclocking.

Spotted over at Twitter by InstLatX64, and according to these tables, the aforementioned SKU can boost up to 4.8GHz in non-AVX workloads, while under AVX2 workloads, it lowers both its base frequency down to 1.7GHz and turbo frequency peaks at 2.9GHz. It gets even worse with AVX-512 workloads, where the base frequency goes down to 1.3GHz with a maximum turbo of 2.5GHz. With AMX enabled, it drops down to 1.1GHz base and 2.0GHz turbo frequencies.
