Kingston launches new HyperX SO-DIMMs

HyperX DDR2-800 at CL5

Kingston has announced the latest addition to its notebook HyperX memory line-up. The new HyperX DDR2-800 SO-DIMMs will be available as 2 or 4GB kits.

The new kits will work at 800MHz, with latency set at 5-5-5-18. In addition to low latency, these modules will need 1.8V.

As with all other modules in the HyperX lineup these will also be backed by a lifetime warranty. The new kits should be available immediately at a suggested price of US $88 and $138 for the 2 and 4GB kits, respectively.
