IDF 2007: But it will take time
Intel wants to become number one in
the discrete graphics business and it wants to take the market share from Nvidia
and ATI, but it realizes that it will take time.
It won't happen overnight, but Intel is a
patient company, just remember how long did it took Intel to get rid
of Netburst, move over to Core 2 and take the lead.
Intel has some big plans with graphics
and it will fight AMD in every single field, Nvidia is also considered
as serious competition. Intel will even challenge AMD and Nvidia in
the mobile market especially in late 2008 or 2009.
