LattePanda has launched a compact Intel-powered single-board server with dual 10GbE networking, up to 64GB of memory and a distinctly grown-up price.
The Sigma 2 measures 146 × 102mm and combines an Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor with Arc B390 graphics. Its promotional pre-sale price is $2,599, rising to $2,799 afterwards. That should discourage anyone expecting a pocket-money alternative to a Raspberry Pi.
The processor packs 16 cores: four performance cores, eight efficiency cores, and four low-power efficiency cores. Maximum clock speed reaches 4.8GHz, with 18MB of cache.
Integrated Arc B390 graphics provide 12 Xe cores. LattePanda claims combined CPU, GPU and neural processing unit performance of up to 180 TOPS at INT8 precision.
Memory reaches 64GB of LPDDR5X-8533, delivering a stated 136.5GB/s of bandwidth. The company says it can allocate up to 59GB as graphics memory for AI workloads.
LattePanda claims the board can run the quantised Qwen3.6-35B-A3B model locally at around 30 tokens per second using INT4 quantisation and Intel OpenVINO. Independent testing has yet to establish how that translates into sustained performance.
Expansion includes three M.2 M-Key slots, an M.2 E-Key slot, two Thunderbolt 4 ports and OCuLink carrying PCIe 4.0 x2. That last detail matters for anyone planning to attach a bandwidth-hungry accelerator.
Dual 10GbE Ethernet ports give the board more networking capacity than many considerably larger PCs. Other connections include USB 3.2 Gen 2, USB 2.0, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1 through USB-C and eDP 1.5.
An integrated RP2350 microcontroller supplies GPIO and real-time hardware control. Preloaded MicroPython firmware lets developers connect software to sensors and actuators.
LattePanda Sigma 2 product manager Youliang Yu said: “Local AI is moving beyond development and into the products and systems people use every day.”
The company is targeting robotics, professional instruments, private AI appliances, and homelabs that combine storage, virtualisation, and media services.
The board supports Windows 11 and Ubuntu 24.04 LTS or later. It ships with Ubuntu, GPU and NPU drivers, OpenVINO Model Server, OpenClaw and local AI models installed on its onboard SSD.
LattePanda promises a product lifecycle of at least three years, BIOS customisation and engineering support for integration projects. The promotional pre-sale period runs until mid-November.
