Judgment to center on the fight to save Halvo Bay
Microsoft has confirmed and showed a trailer for the new Gears of War prequel, which is called Gears of War: Judgment. Judgment is being developed by Epic, but primarily at Epic’s People Can Fly studio, which apparently does have the lead on this project.
Judgment is a prequel to the already-released Gears of War trilogy that focuses on Kio Squad, led by Damon Baird and Augustus “The Cole Train” Cole, and the battle to save the city of Halvo Bay from an unstoppable force.
Judgment will not make the holiday season this year; instead, Microsoft has it pegged for an early 2013 release, which is now starting to get quite crowded with all of the titles set to be released in the first quarter of 2013.
