Promises better battery life
Nokia and Microsoft have pushed out a new OTA update for AT&T Lumia 920 and 820 smartphones that brings a handful of updates, including an update for battery management.
According to some details, the new update brings better Bluetooth reliability and connectivity, improves Nokia Messaging, improves start-up performance and, most importantly, brings an update for battery management. Currently, the new update is available only for AT&T and Canadian Rogers Lumia 920 and 820 smartphones but Nokia is working closely with other carriers and Microsoft in order to bring the new update to every Lumia 920 and 820 by February 2013.
In any case, improved battery life is certainly a welcomed update and we certainly hope that February 2013 is the worst case scenario date.
