An earlier rumor that Nvidia might introduce a new Geforce RTX 5050 with 9GB of VRAM forced a bit more information to the surface, which says that such a graphics card could launch at Computex.
According to earlier information coming as a Twitter post from MEGAsizeGPU points to a new RTX 5050 SKU that could use 3GB memory modules, leaving the new RTX 5050 with possibly 9GB of GDDR7 memory on a 96-bit memory interface.
New product: RTX5050 9GB GDDR7 96Bit
NV knows they can give you a 5050/5060 128-bit 12G with the new 3G GDDR7 dies. But no, you got a 5050 9G💀— MEGAsizeGPU (@Zed__Wang) March 4, 2026
Now, Benchlife has confirmed the earlier rumor and claims that such a graphics card with GDDR7 chips could launch around Computex, which is in early June.
On a similar note, another rumor also suggested that Nvidia might bring back the Geforce RTX 3060, which could be coming to board partners this month. As pointed out by Videocardz.com, it is still not clear if Nvidia will be bringing the original 12GB model, the later 8GB model, or even both, but it is now pretty clear that the Geforce RTX 3060 is coming back.
