Computex 07: Some cards needs fix
First batch of G84, Geforce 8600GTS / GT and G86 based Geforce 8500GT has a HDCP bug that is causing that the cards are failing to get a WHQL certificate.
Nvidia just warned its customers, and they expect further instructions as Nvidia didn’t told anyone if they can fix this with a bios or a software update.
We just know that certain amount of cards that partners sold in the first days will have the issue. We will ask around for more precise details.
