Three million Tegras ordered so far
Nvidia has reportedly received orders for at least three million Tegra 3 chips for use in Google’s Nexus 7 tablet.
The order could generate up to $75 million in revenues and about $10 million in profits, reckons Digitimes.
Digitimes’ sources believe that at least 3 to 4 million Nexus 7 tablets will be shipped by the end of the year, although this sounds like a conservative estimate.
