Phenom 9850 Black Edition is available for less than €200 and this time the price includes shipping. The total price with shipping in Germany reaches €195.41 and this definitely sounds like a great deal for the money.
As we already reported, it overclocks over 3GHz, in idle mode it stays around 30 Degrees Celsius and this makes it a quite desirable product in the Quad-core segment.
The only CPU that Intel has to fight this product is Q6600 and this CPU is the only mainstream Quad-core from Intel that is currently available. The Q9300 is slowly getting to the market and it becomes available while Q9450 is still almost non-existent, at least at European market.
