The BDM3275UP with IPS-AHVA panel
Philips has announced its new 32-inch 4K/UHD monitor which is mostly aimed at professionals with its IPS-AHVA panel and 10-bit display.
Based on a 32-inch IPS-AHVA panel with W-LED backlighting technology and 3840×2160 resolution, the new Philips BD3275UP also features 10-bit color support with 1.074 billion colors and 12-bit internal processing, which should provide natural, gradation-free color reproduction. With 178º horizontal and vertical viewing angles, and Philips Flicker-Free technology, the Philips BD3275UP should mostly appeal to professional users rather than gamers.
The rest of the specifications and features include maximum brightness of 350 cd/m², 12ms response time and 1000:1 contrast ratio as well as VGA, DVI, DisplayPort and HDMI 2.0 display inputs and USB 3.0 hub.
It also features built-in 3W stereo speakers and uses Philips SmartErgoBase, which allows height, swivel, tilt and pivot adjustments.
The new Philips 4K/UHD BDM3275UP monitor should be available in Europe as of this month with a suggested retail price of €1099.
