RSA announced that it will buy Tablus of San Mateo, California, a privately held data loss prevention company.
This should be a good acquisition for RSA, the security division of EMC, as Tablus develops data monitoring and data loss prevention technologies as well as data discovery and classification, and will supplement EMC’s intelligent information management platform offerings.
Further details and terms of the purchase were not available.
