Slimmer design, bigger battery, and more improvements
At the IFA 2025 show in Berlin, Samsung has unveiled its new Galaxy S25 FE smartphone, bringing several improvements, including a slightly faster Exynos 2400 SoC, a slimmer design, a better front camera, and a larger battery.
Although the design is quite similar to the Galaxy S24 FE, the new Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is both slimmer at 7.4mm as well as smaller at 161.3×76.6mm. It even weighs less at 190g, despite having a larger 4,900mAh battery. Samsung kept the same 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen with 2340×1080 resolution, 1900 nits of brightness, and 120Hz refresh rate. It is still protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+, both on the front and back, and has an aluminum frame. Samsung was keen to note that it also has a larger vapor chamber.

Samsung is using a 4nm Exynos 2400 SoC, same as with the Galaxy S24 FE, but this time around, this 10-core SoC with Xclipse 940 GPU works at a slightly higher frequency for the Prime Cortex-X4 core. The new Galaxy S25 FE still uses a triple rear camera with a 50MP main sensor, 8MP telephoto with optical zoom, and a 12MP ultra-wide one. The front camera got updated from 10MP to 12MP.
Samsung also brought a heftier 4,900mAh battery and finally gave the FE series 45W wired and 25W wireless charging.
