Said to resolve PS3 performance issues
PlayStation 3 Skyrim players who have been experiencing performance issues while playing Skyrim will be pleased to know that help is on the way. Bethesda has a patch currently in certification with both Sony and Microsoft that they are hoping can be released starting around the week of November 28th.
In addition to addressing the PlayStation 3 performance issues, the patch will apparently also address the strange texture problem that leads to a performance drop on the Xbox 360 when the game is installed to the hard drive.
Bethesda has assured players that the patch will not reset characters or destroy game saves.
