The industry has grew
Computer hardware sales in the U.S. generated revenues of $99 billion in 2006, up 4.9% over sales in 2005. According to Reuters As of 13 July 2007 the top 10 companies ranked by revenue were as follows:

Dell is by far the biggest on the list and Apple is doing exceptionaly well.
