Almost 11 percent higher revenue than 2006
Vivendi continues to rake in the cash this year with sales of almost $7.9 billion, which is almost an 11 percent increase over the same period last year. Several Vivendi units achieved incredible growth, including Blizzard Who’s World of Warcraft expansion, the Burning Crusade, which was a big seller. The World of Warcraft MMOG has an incredible 9.3 million paying subscribers.
While Vivendi is making large revenue gains, it still pales in comparison to other companies in Vivendi’s portfolio.
