Acquisitions….
We had a chance to talk briefly with one of the important people at VoodooPC, and even he didn’t reveal many details; we learned that VoodooPC is not happy with how the acquisition went.
HP and Voodoo PC are completely different environments, and we can see that some of the higher-ups on the food chain at HP do not really understand why it is necessary to spend millions in R&D to get a better gaming face.
We are sure that Alienware shares the same fate, but at least in both cases some people got a lot of money for their pieces of their companies.
