Intel has confirmed that the X38
chipset will be launched on the 10th of October. This
means that Intel could not keep its promise to launch this chipset in
Q3 2007 as the October is the first month of Q4 this year.
The boards are getting their final touches
and it looks that the performance of Gigabyte and Asus boards is
really good. MSI board looks well, but we haven't seen it up and
running.
Intel has quite high expectations from
X38 chipset and only thing that it really lacks is the SLI support.
