Zotac has unveiled its most powerful AMD-based ZBOX mini PC, which packs quite a punch with AMD’s Ryzen AI MAX+ 395 processor in a compact 2.65l form factor.
To be available as a barebone or fully equipped system, the Zotac ZBOX MAGNUS EAMAX395C packs AMD’s Ryzen AI MAX+ 395 APU with Radeon 8060S integrated GPU, delivering up to 126 TOPS of AI performance. We have seen several mini PCs with the same APU, but since Zotac has been doing these systems for a while, it probably did a good job of integrating the 16-core/32-thread APU into such a small 2.65l chassis, which measures 210x203x62.2mm (8.27×7.99×2.45in).
The ZBOX MAGNUS EAMAX395C comes with 128GB of LPDDR5X-8000 memory, dual 2.5Gbit Ethernet, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, three M.2 NVMe SSD slots, up to quad-display support with two HDMI 2.1, two DisplayPort 1.4, and DisplayPort via USB 4, five USB 3.2 Gen 2 10Gbps Type-A, and one USB 4 40Gbps Type-C port. It also comes with two WiFi antennas and a 20V/240W power brick.
Zotac will actually have several SKUs for the ZBOX MAGNUS EAMAX, including the flagship EAMAX395C with Ryzen AI MAX+ 395, as well as the versions with Ryzen AI MAX 390 and the Ryzen AI MAX 385 APUs. As said, it is available as a barebone version or as a complete system with a 1TB NVMe SSD and Windows 11 Home OS, since 128GB of memory is already on board.
