Also three more tagged important and one moderate

With a new month brings the latest additions from Microsoft for Windows via the patch Tuesday updates. For this Tuesday users can expect seven patches. Three of the seven are marked as “Critical,” three more are tagged as “Important” and one additional patch is labeled as “Moderate”.

The three patches that are “Critical” all involve vulnerabilities that could create a remote code execution situation, which means that a hacker could gain control over the PC. All of the major 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows Vista/XP/200 are affected and at least four of the patches we know for certain will require a reboot once they are installed. It should come as no surprise that most of the patches this time around focus on Internet Explorer versions 6 and 7.

According to Microsoft they do not plan any updates or patches to Office this month.
