In Taiwan

Although it might not be as exciting as it being available in Europe or the US, the good thing is that this means it won't be long until it becomes available in other parts of the world, it's just a matter of waiting for the shipments to arrive.

The Wind U100 is listed online for sale in Taiwan and it appears to be the black version that's available first. All the specifications are as predicted, Atom N270 CPU, 945GSE chipset, 1GB of DDR2 memory, 80GB hard drive and an LED backlit 10in LCD with 1,024x600 resolution.

The going price is NT$18900 or €395/£313/$622, although to be fair, the sales tax in Taiwan is only five percent, so add slightly higher sales tax and you realise it isn't such a brilliant deal, especially as PC World is selling the same machine under its own brand for less in the UK already and the Medion Akoya is priced about the same.
