Team Ninja, the developers of the Ninja Gaiden series, are looking at the possibility of expanding the series into the portable realm. Apparently, once they finish work on Ninja Gaiden 3 for the consoles, Team Ninja intends to take a hard look at the possibility of doing a version for the PlayStation Vita.

While the studio is currently focused on finishing Ninja Gaiden 3 for the console systems, they apparently plan to have a Vita developer system. The news could be very good for those thinking about the Vita, as the more popular titles that come to the platform the better its chance for success.

Don’t expect a decision on a Vita version soon; but then again E3 really isn’t that far away now. We will have to see what shakes out.
