The wallets allow users to manage crypto and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) throughout decentralised apps and enable transactions of GameStop's NFT marketplace. GameStop was enthusiastic about the idea which it rolled out a year ago.

In a statement the company said that due to the regulatory uncertainty of the crypto space, GameStop has decided to remove its iOS and Chrome Extension wallets from the market on November 1, 2023.

Customers will have access until October 1.
